THE PAKHTUN NATION STATE DUMMY REFERENDUM

The issue and debate of the 'Pakhtun Nation State' is a very controversial one, and has been, since at least the birth of Pakistan.  The average Pakhtun doesn't have a voice to put forward their own opinion on this subject, especially if they are under political pressure - or even worse - fear of the loss of their life, just for putting forward an opinion that may go against the ideologies of certain establishments and governments.

In order for us to help facilitate the average Pashtun in allowing them to have a say in their own future, without interference from the outside, we want to give Pakhtuns around the world an opportunity to 'vote' in a dummy referendum on this controversial topic of a Pakhtun Nation State and the removal of the British created Durrand Line.

The Pashtun Society will also attempt to collect data and give opportunity for Pakhtun villagers across Pakistan and Afghanistan, to vote in this dummy referendum, especially since the result of this referendum, if it were real, would directly affect these peoples' lives.  ***The results of this 'vote' will be published and will be open to the general public.  The results of this referendum will NOT change any existing political system - it is merely a collection of opinions from a specific ethnic group, that is currently going through a lot of political strife.  THE PURPOSE OF THIS DUMMY REFERENDUM IS FOR RESEARCH/SURVEY PURPOSE ONLY.  The results can be used to indicate majority opinion of the Pakhtuns, and can be used in decision making processes for conflict resolution.

IF YOU ARE PAKHTUN, PLEASE VOTE BELOW AND GET AS MANY OF YOUR PAKHTUN FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO VOTE!

* Voting deadline:  currently, voting is open, in order to give as much time for as many Pashtuns as possible to vote.  This deadline will be reviewed
